Basic Construction Training in Wimauma, FL: Job Skills for a Career in Construction
March 2 – May 13, 2026 | Orientation: February 17 or 18
Enterprising Latinas announces a Basic Construction Training Program in Wimauma, FL, designed to help community members gain practical construction skills and prepare for employment opportunities in the Tampa Bay region. Offered in partnership with CDC of Tampa and Tampa Vocational Institute, this hands-on program focuses on job readiness, workforce development, and long-term career pathways.

Celebrating the Fall 2025 Business Development Training Graduation at ELI
On Saturday, January 17th, 2026 Enterprising Latinas hosted a graduation ceremony that was as meaningful as it was inspiring. Entrepreneurs from both the Spanish and English cohorts of the Fall 2025 Business Development Training came together to celebrate the completion of an eight-week journey marked by commitment, courage, and growth. On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, more than 200 community members, partners, and leaders came together to celebrate 11 years of Enterprising Latinas and our collective work expanding pathways to economic opportunity for women and families across Wimauma and the Tampa Bay region.
