What’s Happening at Enterprising Latinas

Business Development Training in Wimauma, FL – starts March 14. Enterprising Latinas offers an in-person business development training in English designed for entrepreneurs and small business owners in Wimauma and the Tampa Bay area who want to start or structure a sustainable business.

March 2 – May 13, 2026 | Orientation: February 17 or 18 Enterprising Latinas announces a Basic Construction Training Program in Wimauma, FL, designed to help community members gain practical construction skills and prepare for employment opportunities in the Tampa Bay region. Offered in partnership with CDC of Tampa and Tampa Vocational Institute, this hands-on program focuses on job readiness, workforce development, and long-term career pathways.

That’s why we invite you to attend an in-person informational workshop at the Wimauma Opportunity Center, where you’ll learn how the WIOA Program (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) can help you prepare for a stronger, more stable career path.

On Saturday, January 17th, 2026 Enterprising Latinas  hosted a graduation ceremony that was as meaningful as it was inspiring. Entrepreneurs from both the Spanish and English cohorts  of the Fall 2025 Business Development Training  came together to celebrate the completion of an eight-week journey marked by commitment, courage, and growth.
