For more than a decade, the Wimauma Opportunity Center has served as a vital hub for opportunity, providing workforce training, small business support, childcare, community gathering space, and critical resources for families who have historically been excluded from economic mobility. Demand for our services has grown significantly, and our current facility can no longer meet the needs of the community we serve.

 

This expansion represents more than a building project. It is an investment in people, pathways to economic stability, and the long-term vitality of Wimauma and surrounding communities. The expanded Opportunity Center will allow us to deepen and scale proven programs, serve more families and entrepreneurs, and create a permanent, community-owned space that reflects dignity, access, and possibility.
